Series One (1996)

"Trying to Connect You" 11 February Father Peter Clifford arrives from England, transferred to a small Irish village. The first person he meets is Assumpta Fitzgerald, the local landlady, who seems to have a bad attitude towards the clergy. Already off to a poor start, he finds he also has to deal with the quirks of his congregation; like Niamh Quigley, who wants to know whether her boyfriend will make a good husband, and her father Brian who seems to think that a confessional complete with air conditioning and fax machine will make the world of difference in BallyK.
"The Things We Do For Love" 18 February When Brian Quigley's efforts to evict a family fail, the local football match takes on more importance than ever before. Plus a woman from Father Clifford's past causes problems.
"Live In My Heart And Pay No Rent" 25 February Widower Quigley is ready to rekindle an old flame while his daughter, Niamh, is looking forward to marrying her beloved Ambrose. Unfortunately after a close encounter, Ambrose has other ideas and the planned wedding is in jeopardy.
"Fallen Angel" 3 March It's Father Clifford's birthday but he hasn't told any of his flock. So how does the DJ of the local pirate radio station know about it? He's learning to drive as Father Mac says he must be a mobile priest, but lessons with Assumpta might not be such a good idea.
"The Power And The Gory" 10 March A death in the village necessitates a by-election. The fight is on between Sean Dooley and Brian Quigley, who has the support of the church. Assumpta's ex-boyfriend comes back to dish the dirt on Quigley.
"Missing You Already" 17 March Brian organises a local festival but Assumpta is less than enthusiastic when the festival steals her business. Ambrose and Niamh finally make it down the aisle and Father Clifford is told he's to be sent back to England - but are the villagers as keen for him to go as Father Mac is?

Series Two (1997)

"For One Night Only" 5 January Sparks fly when Father Peter casts Assumpta in the village play. She objects to playing the love scenes but then a tall dark stranger arrives in town to play the romantic lead.
"River Dance" 12 January Ballyk rallies around Brendan Kearney, in danger of losing his job as head school teacher. Elsewhere, there's a gold rush in Ballyk and Fr Peter is none too pleased at Liam & Donal's depiction of the Virgin Mary statue
"In The Can" 19 January Former one hit wonder Enda Sullivan takes Assumpta out on a date, and Fr Peter recruits him to play at a Gospel Mass. Meanwhile, Brian Quigley directs a tourist film
"The Facts Of Life" 26 January Peter finds an abandoned newborn on his step and attempts to reunite the family. Ambrose slips in the tub and a new Garda arrives in Ballyk
"Someone To Watch Over Me" 2 February Brian Quigley gets an attractive flirtatious housekeeper
"Only Skin Deep" 9 February Brian Quigley sets up a town beauty contest as part of the village festival. Siobhan goes undercover while Peter and Ambrose try to reform a young delinquent
"Money, Money, Money" 16 February A fire guts Kathleen's home and the villagers are stunned to learn she has no insurance. When Peter gets wrong information on a dog race, the town turns to a poker tournament to help her out
"Chinese Whispers" 23 February Two strangers cause chaos when the villagers think they are from the revenue service. Peter is upset when Assumpta mentions possibly leaving the town

"Stardust in Your Eyes" 15 March 1998 Quigley tries to impress potential investors while his daughter struggles to balance work and motherhood.
"The Fortune in Men's Eyes" 22 March 1998 When Ambrose's mother returns to help care for baby Kieran, Quigley takes an unusual interest in her.
"I Know When I'm Not Wanted" 29 March 1998 Assumpta returns home with her new husband and finds Father Peter organizing a pub contest.
"Personal Call" 5 April 1998 Assumpta's marriage deteriorates, Father Mac falls ill, and Quigley's financial situation worsens.
"Lost Sheep" 12 April 1998 Siobhan receives unexpected news, and Kathleen is inexplicably horrified when a mysterious young woman arrives in town.
"The Waiting Game" 19 April 1998 While the population of Ballykissangel is obsessed with an anonymous lottery winner, Ambrose goes undercover.
"Pack up Your Troubles" 26 April 1998 Quigley launches a new venture.
"The Reckoning" 3 May 1998 The town is caught up in a cooking competition when Peter finally confesses his feelings to Assumpta.
"Amongst Friends" 4 May 1998 In the wake of disaster, Peter fights with Leo and disappears.

Series Four (1998)

All Bar One 20 September 1998 As Fitzgerald's goes up for auction, many new strangers arrive in town, some more welcome than others. And the town is anticipating their new priest, a former monk.
He Healeth the Sick 27 September 1998 While Eamon tries to rid his farm of invading foxes, Father Aidan begins working miracles on the sick. Father MacAnally however is skeptical as to the legality of these miracles.
Bread and Water 4 October 1998 Siobhan prepares for a water birth, Father Aidan has financial troubles, Sean Dillon's daughter arrives in Bally K and Niamh continues to move into her new home.
Par for the Course 11 October 1998 A roaming stranger wanders around Ballykissangel as Siobhan and Brendan argue over their daughter's christening. Brian persuades a friend of Orla's to partner with him in buying a golf course.
The Odd Couple 18 October 1998 Donal's new companion, a black bear, is roaming around the village wreaking havoc while Kevin secretly starts working with Sean.
Turf 23 October 1998 The town is virtually deserted as everyone heads to the annual horse race where Doctor Ryan is in danger of losing to Danny's Razor. Meanwhile, back in town, Ambrose tackles a Cilldargin drug dealer he once arrested.
It's a Family Affair 1 November 1998 At the grand opening of Brian's golf course, Micky comes face to face with an enemy from the past. Then, Danny steals back his horse from Sean and his injury gets worse.
Rock Bottom 8 November 1998 Padraig's life falls apart at the seams causing his drinking to get even worse. A fertility statue is uncovered on Sean's farm and Fitzgerald's gets satellite T.V.
As Stars Look Down 15 November 1998 An old friend of Father MacAnally's returns to Ballykissangel for a visit with news of a promotion to the Vatican. In the meantime, Emma and Danny get stranded together when the heavy rain sets in.
Births, Deaths and Marriages 22 November 1998 While Siobhan and Brendan prepare for their simple and secret wedding; Emma goes around the village digging up her family's past. Then Eamon has an accident and Niamh and Ambrose feel that their marriage has lost its meaning.
It's a Man's Life 29 November 1998 The tension between Niamh and Ambrose continues and Niamh leaves Ambrose for the day. Donal and Liam look for extra cash in golf balls that have been lost in the river and Kathleen gets an unexpected visit from an old sweetheart.
The Final Frontier 6 December 1998 A massive storm sweeps over Ballykissangel and has everyone running for cover. Niamh confronts her feelings for Sean and Ambrose confronts his marriage with Niamh.

Series Five (1999)

"Two Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" 26 September 1999 As Niamh and Sean come to a decision about their relationship, Brian, Orla, Liam and Donal compete in a hot air balloon race over Ballykissangel.
"Hello and Farewell" 3 October 1999 The sudden loss in Ballykissangel has left everyone in tears, particularly Niamh who must deal with the new changes in her life. In the meantime, Orla moves into a new cottage hoping for some freedom.
"Catch of the Day" 10 October 1999 While Niamh, Sean and Brian try to get back to normal life, Liam and Donal stumble across a crate of expensive caviar that could cause them more harm than good.
"Moving Out" 17 October 1999 Due to the escalating tension between Emma and Sean, Emma leaves home. Meanwhile, Niamh decides she must leave as well, but to Dublin.
"Eureka" 24 October 1999 It's Kieran 4th birthday and Imelda has come for a visit, creating tension between her and Niamh. Tension also surfaces on the seas when Orla brings a famous book editor on board Connor's boat.
"Behind Bars" 31 October 1999 As Niamh moves out of Fitzgerald's to begin her new life in Dublin, Paul Dooley, an old enemy of Brian Quigley, moves in with his wife Oonagh and their two children. In the meantime, Conor's attempts to arrange a romantic date for Orla go terribly wrong.|-
"Brendan's Crossing" 7 November 1999 Brendan applies for the position of headmaster, but his chances at securing the post are looking bleak considering his competition and the interview panel.
"A Few Dollars More" 21 November 1999 Donal's uncle Minto returns to Bally K with a dangerous new business proposal, just in time for the arrival of the new garda.
"The Outsiders" 28 November 1999 Frankie finds it hard to feel connected to the village when she orders Paul to 50 hours of community service to make up for his crime. Also, Brian begins to feel lonely without Niamh and Kieran.
"With a Song in My Heart" 5 December 1999 Father Aidan starts looking for choir singers but finds it hard to rally up volunteers. As well, Sean decides to visit Niamh in Dublin.
"Love's Labours" 19 December 1999 Niamh and Sean announce their news to the village, but while some are very supportive, others are a little unsure about the decision. In the meantime, Donal and Liam try their luck at gambling and Father Aidan organizes a raft race.
"The Wedding" 28 December 1999 While Niamh and Sean prepare to say 'I do,' Frankie sets out to find a reckless, young driver and Paul gets a visit from a friend from prison.

Series Six (2001)

God.com 1 March 2001 Father Vincent Sheahan arrives in Ballykissangel, from Australia, and quickly learns the ways of the villagers as he deals with a new online confessional and the mysterious disappearance of Brian Quigley.
Drink 4 March 2001 Father Vincent is arrested for drunk driving as Paul sets his sights on Louis's run down shack.
The Cat and Daddy G. 11 March 2001 Father Vincent hears a confession that could be the answer to a mysterious assault. Grainne's pet goat turns out to be just what Avril's horse, The Cat, needs.
Spirit Proof 18 March 2001 Mysterious things start to happen around Ballykissangel when Paul acquires a fishing license for the pub. Kathleen wins a car and takes driving lessons from Edso.
Paul Dooley Sleeps with the Fishes 25 March 2001 Paul has a large debt to pay to Liam and Donal, and he hasn't got much time. Avril gets an unpleasant shock when a couple arrives in Ballykissangel for the weekend.
In a Jam 1 April 2001 While Siobhan waits for medical test results, the village holds its annual fete where Father Sheahan will judge the jam competition.
Getting Better All the Time 8 April 2001 A faith healer has Doc Ryan and Father Mac annoyed while Paul orders Liam and Donal to move a mass rock. Then a good friend of Vincent's turns up hoping to get married in St. Joseph's.
Smoke Signals 15 April 2001 In the series finale of Ballykissangel, Father Mac is appalled when he learns of the wedding Father Sheahan officiated, Paul gets a tempting offer and someone is found taking cannabis from a nearby field.
